You are invited to make a pilgrimage over several days from Rotterdam to the mouth of the river in Hoek van Holland. It has traveled a long way from the Source high in the Swiss Alps. From pristine nature to the world port city of Rotterdam, it has seen much change along its banks. While it takes the water one lunar cycle to flow from the Source to the Mouth, a human life spans many cycles. Just like the river, we too experience much in the flow of a human life.

During the Ocean in a Drop Pilgrimage, we invite you to truly look at yourself in the mirror. Every moment, you can help steer the flow of your own life. You carry a wisdom within you that is sometimes difficult to connect with in daily life. When you are in touch with your feelings or intuition, you know very clearly what to do or not to do. The art lies in connecting with that part of yourself. It can teach you how to act according to what you truly desire.

In the bigger picture, everything is interconnected, and this awareness means that what you do, how you do it, and with whom you connect has a direct influence on all your relationships, and subsequently on their relationships. Consequently, the consequences of even a small action can have far-reaching effects. So, even if you ever feel insignificant, know that the chance of you being born right now is statistically speaking virtually nil, and yet you are here. How exceptional is that.
